Kurumba Maldives Introduces Mira

MALE, Maldives - Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Wednesday nights at Kurumba Maldives have just gotten better with a new line up.

Guests can now enjoy the sounds of one of the most talented female vocalists to perform at Kurumba. They are being charmed by Mira Majid's pure sweet voice accompanied by an acoustic guitar.

She is a talented performer, whose skill far exceeds her years, Mira was influenced by her father, who is a well-known musician and just so happened to be a Kurumba talent no more than 8 years ago.

Mira’s first stage performance was back in 1998 in an interschool competition held in the Maldives, from then on and many competitions after, a star was born. With immense passion, her style of music touches all genres. She feels there should be no borders in expressing ones emotions, through the tune of creating good music.

Mira now plays at the resort’s Beach Bar every Wednesday night from 9 pm to 10:30 pm. She shares the night with Kurumba Maldives, Bodu Beru, which is a traditional Maldivian style of music and dance and is performed by the resorts own team members.
