The rugged M12 connector option provides the SMD23E with a standard IP50 rating, plus an optional IP67 rating for superior protection against wash down environments such as food & beverage, industrial rinses, and other harsh conditions. These cost-effective, integrated motion packages are ODVA conformance tested and interface with many PLCs including those from Rockwell Automation, Omron, and Schneider. “The PLC integration provides flexibility that simplifies machine change over and reduces set up time.”, explains Matt Tellier – AMCI Product Manager, Motion Control.
