Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Most people would rather search for a new job whilst they still have one, instead of waiting until they are unemployed to start looking. Research shows that 73% of employees say they search for a new job, whilst at work at their current job. They will spend time looking for jobs online, sending emails of interest, taking calls from recruitment companies and submitting applications for the new job, whilst at work. Here are some tips for anyone who is looking for a new job whilst still employed;

Look at internal openings first – see if there are relevant openings within your company before looking for somewhere completely new. Many employers will prefer to hire someone internal than someone brand new.
Keep it to yourself – don’t mention that you are job hunting to people at work, if the word gets back to your boss, they might sack you even for looking.
Play it safe online – be careful when visiting job boards or using social media to conduct your research, as a single status update could alert your employer, or they might track your computer history.

Web design is always a great field of work to get into. As long as you have qualifications and experience in website design then you can apply for the job today.
