Lara Parker-Kent and Jack Sierra to Guest on The Jimmy Star Show Wednesday August 14th, 2013

Lara Parker-Kent was born with a voice and into a musical family. From the age of 7 she took weekly singing lessons to develop her voice. She started entering talent quests and eisteddfod at age 8 and was performing in clubs by 14.

Lara's song writing started at 13. In her late teens she was performing regularly at events.

Lara's recent Blind Audition for The Voice-Australia won her much praise from the judges.The Judges response to her was amazingly encouraging.

Joel Madden said she was rad, he wanted to hear her sing again and thought that Lara had the best attitude of anyone in the Voice competition.

Jack Sierra grew up in the Hills District of Sydney into a musical family. He has been playing guitar since he was 14. He has been busking in the Sydney area for 3 years and has a solid following of fans on Twitter exceeding 22,000 followers.

Jack is currently studying a Bachelor of Creative Technology (audio engineering and sound production) at JMC Academy Sydney.

Lara and Jack met through twitter, and a week after meeting recorded and released their Debut Single Bon Jovi's "Livin On A Prayer".

The film clip was produced by Richard Bell and has had over 1 million views on VUBE and Lara & Jacks following keeps growing, featured on radio stations throughout Europe. They are now writing and recording new songs, which will be released on iTunes in the near future.
