By: Grove Dodge Chrysler Canada saw an eight percent increase in sales this July, with 26,209 vehicles sold compared to last July’s 24,162 units. Several Chrysler models experienced record sales of their own, including the Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Journey, Jeep Wrangler (http://www.grovedodgechrysler.com/ Sales of Chrysler passenger cars have increased by 20 percent for the year compared to sales figures from the same time period last year. Now that Chrysler has models in the majority of vehicle segments, passenger car sales have continued to grow. Several Chrysler models have been recognized by industry experts for their quality. The Dodge Charger and Fiat 500 earned top honors in J.D. Power’s 2013 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) study. The minivan segment has been another area of success for Chrysler Canada. The Dodge Grand Caravan made the list of the top 5 best-selling vehicles in Canada. Compared to last July, the Chrysler Town & Country experienced a 168 percent increase in sales, setting a July record. Chrysler Canada also reported record sales in the truck and SUV categories. The Jeep Wrangler set a July sales record with 2,243 vehicles sold. The Ram truck series, which is the fastest growing truck brand in Canada, saw their sales increase by 21 percent to set another July record. The Ram truck series has experienced a 20 percent increase in sales overall compared to the same time period in 2012.
