PRLog -- JCS Immigration and Visa Law Office, together with the immigration lawyer association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Immigration Legal Assistance Project, will host a seminar on immigration applications for same sex couples who are married in Los Angeles county. The joint seminar will be held on August 7th, 2013 at the West Hollywood library on San Vicente Boulevard and will discuss issues related to green card applications and immigrant visa applications and the next step after the death of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). JCS Immigration and Visa Law Office, an immigration law firm based in Los Angeles, California, will go over the lawful permanent residency applications with attendees who wish to help their same sex spouses receive permanent resident status. This event is open to the public in the greater Los Angeles area and is hosted by licensed immigration lawyers. This event will have a specific emphasis on the procedures and process for immigrants and their same sex married partners in obtaining legal federal immigration benefits and securing a green card.
