Katy Perry 2013 Prism Tour Right Around the Corner

Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Pop mega-star, Katy Perry, has been dropping hints recently of news about her upcoming album, "Prism", as well as hints of a supporting tour.  Katy Perry's album is due to be released on October 22, 2013 and if you live in the Los Angeles area, you may have seen the giant gold truck with "KATY PERRY • PRISM • 10-22-2013" in massive, black letters.  The truck is very hard to miss, it's not gold as in yellow, it is gold as in gold!

Katy Perry recently tweeted, "Find the #PRISM semi, take a picture and I’ll RT you. Don’t worry, Los Angeles is just the first stop on the map."  No official announcement has been made about Prism tour dates, venues, cities, dates or times, however Katy Perry was quoted saying that she cannot wait to get back on the road.  The truck has been making it's way across the country and has been spotted in Los Angeles, Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, Tennessee, Arizona, Nevada, California and other areas.

This upcoming Katy Perry tour would be a huge tour for her.  Her last tour in 2011 was wildly popular and brought her around the world (Europe, Austrailia, Asia, North America, and parts of South America).  Each and every concert in 2011 was sold out in minutes and fans jam-packed each and every arena on the tour schedule.  Some cities were doubled up to accomodate more fans.

Katy Perry is currently scheduled to perform a concert at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday, September 20th, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Katy Perry has also released a teaser video for "Roar" which indicates that this is a whole-new Katy Perry.  She ended the short clip on YouTube with #ROAR and the date, AUG 12.  Katy Perry told Billboar, ""I know exactly the record I want to make next. I know the artwork, the coloring and the tone..... I even know what type of tour I'm doing next. I'll be very pleased if the vision I have in my head becomes a reality".
