ConstEdit, a new-concept word processor, is released

TSUEN WAN, Hong Kong - Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- ConstEdit Software, a software company in Hong Kong, is proud to announce that the new version v1.10.0100 of ConstEdit is now available for download at the company homepage http://www.constedit.com & at major Windows software download repositories.

Interoperability. ConstEdit writes documents in the standard internet webpage format (html/htm file extension). You do not have to install any particular software to read the html documents generated from ConstEdit. They are directly viewable with any common web browser in any common computer platforms.

Document structure. ConstEdit allows the end user to visualize and manage the document sections structure easily with drag and drop without doing any cut and paste. This concept is much like the storyboards used by novelists.

Separation of style formatting from content authoring. By making use of external style sheets, which is already in wide use by internet websites, styles formatting is done automatically on-the-fly during content authoring, according to the definitions in the style sheet. For example, when a new section is inserted, the new section is already rendered with the designed style with the correct outline numbering on it. There is no need to look for a "section style" to apply to the section explicitly. Another example, when a main section is demoted to becoming a sub-section, the change of level is reflected immediately by the numbering on the section title and the section is formatted as a sub-section.
