August 2, 2013, Raipur: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), part of the US $ 16.2 billion Mahindra Group, today launched the much anticipated SsangYong Rexton in Raipur, a luxurious, powerful and premium global SUV by Mahindra. Designed and developed by SsangYong in Korea, this is the third generation Rexton, perfectly suited to the discerning Indian customer. Available at Mahindra dealerships in Raipur from August 2, 2013, the SsangYong Rexton by Mahindra will retail at a price of Rs. 19.22 lacs, ex-showroom Raipur for the RX5 version with manual transmission and Rs. 21.49 lacs, ex-showroom Raipur* for the RX7 version with automatic transmission.

The SsangYong Rexton is manufactured and assembled at Mahindra’s Chakan Plant near Pune by sourcing components from SsangYong Korea and from India.
