Emphasys Software Hosts Hackathon

MIAMI - July 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Miami, FL – July 26^th, 2013 – Emphasys Software will be hosting The Makin’ Bacon Hackathon II on August 10, 2013, beginning at 8am. The Hackathon will be held at Right Space 2 Meet in Coral Gables. The event will be open to all interested participants. The goal for the Hackathon is to support the growing tech community in Miami, and provide them with a place to work on any project that they choose.

“The first Makin’ Bacon Hackathon was a huge success, so we decided to host a second one. We have received great support from our sponsors and an enthusiastic response from the hacking community.  We are looking forward to an even bigger turnout this time” said Rick Rues, Director of Marketing for Emphasys Software.

The Hackathon will run twelve hours and is open to any API. This means that the participants can make any project they would like. During the Hackathon, Emphasys Software will be providing brunch, snacks, dinner and beverages. At the conclusion of the event, the projects will be judged by a panel of judges and prizes will be awarded to the top three projects.
