Eighty-two Year Old Publishes His First Novel

HAMILTON, Ontario - July 28, 2013 - PRLog -- William S. Peckham, resident of Kelowna BC, publishes his first novel, From Out of the Woodwork. A mystery story with a touch of the paranormal. It is the tale of Sean Kennedy, a young Toronto contractor, who rebuilds old houses into multi-family dwellings... slums waiting to happen. He encounters, through apparitions, many of the former owners of 29 Livery Lane. This is a tale which will intrigue you as Kennedy works his way through the lives, sometimes tragic sometimes joyous, of the former residents.

Peckham, now eighty-two, began writing in 2003 after arriving in Kelowna to marry his high school sweetheart, Lynn Vaughan. Lynn suggested he had a gift for weaving a tale and that he should put those tales on paper. Thus, a journey began… a journey of short stories culminating in a novel of love, intrigue, murder and suspense.

“Once I started writing, characters just seemed to keep popping up, crying to be included in the story of Sean Kennedy and 29 Livery Lane… thus a novel was born,” Peckham said.
