| ![]() Join Nevada PEP in the Statewide Second Annual Run, Walk, Roll Against BullyingNevadans gather for annual anti-bullying campaign on Sunday, Sept 29 at Tivoli Village.
By: Nevada PEP Registration is easy. Go to Nevada PEP’s website and click on the registration button and follow the prompts. The Run Walk Roll will begin at 9:00 a.m. The 5k run will go around Tivoli Village and on the Angel Park trail. The entry fee is $35 per person, $20 for the 1.5. Fun Walk. Each registered participant will receive a complimentary T-shirt. Snacks and additional fun will also be provided at Tivoli Village . “Bullying can lead to painful results not only for the youth who are bullied, but for the students who engage in it, the school, and the whole community.” “This is a very real and painful issue that kids are facing,” said Stephanie Vrsnik, Community Development Director at Nevada PEP. “But they don’t have to face it alone, and bullying can be prevented if we all work together.” For more information on registration or to donate to the Run, Walk Roll, visit www.nvpep.org or call 702-388-8899. All proceeds from the Run, Walk, Roll Against Bullying will go to Nevada PEP’s Bullying Prevention Program. Nevada PEP is the Parent Center for Nevada offering Education, Encouragement and Empowerment to families who have children with disabilities. Nevada PEP’s services and training include webinars that are free of charge to parents and professionals. Training is also available on disability related topics.
