By: Punch TV Sky’s The Limit Community Development Corporation is a non-profit organization committed to rebuilding lives by helping people who are at risk in impoverished communities and by connecting families and individuals with resources to help get them back on the right track. Sky’s The Limit provides exceptional programs and services that encourage individuals to pursue life with a new mindset. Their focus is to give back, rebuild, uplift, encourage, motivate and inspire people within their local communities. Sky’s The Limit helps individuals reach their dreams and goals as well as foster academic excellence and community encouragement by working with resource centers, providing mentorship and giving back to the community. This year, Sky’s The Limit will host its’ 1st Annual Back to School Backpack Give-Away. Founder and CEO of Punch TV Network, Joseph Collins and the Punch TV team are supporting this event by providing their time and efforts into making this event a success. Collins believes in helping the community and states, “Any and all help and time that you can lend to a worthy organization such as Sky’s The Limit, is time well spent. I am happy to lend a hand, along with my team and hope that many others come out to support this great cause.” This event will be held on Saturday August 10th 2013, 8:00a.m. - 3:00p.m at the Boys and Girls Club at the Los Angeles Harbor. Many guest speakers will be present as well as entertainment such as Sirquon Hardy, performances by Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc., appearances by Filberts Big Bash, Tisha Marina, Barbers and Stylists, to do kids hair, manicures and facials along with raffles and jumpers for everyone to enjoy! President of Sky’s The Limit, Shaunsie Caldwell is pleased to have so much support, “Every person must overcome a hurdle, no one is exempt. The only difference between this person and that person is one person decided to take a chance, regardless of hardships and setbacks while the other person chose to let the hardships of life stop them from living. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Speak it, believe it and execute your plan.” This event aims to motivate those less fortunate to rise above and believe in change with dedication, determination and perseverance.
