July 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Today’s society uses the internet daily. You may not realise just how much you use the internet, however, without it we would definitely struggle with everyday life. We use the internet each day on our smart phones, to check email, the weather, social networking sites and the news etc. Around 85% of employees, in jobs based in London, use the internet and computers to do their work, whether it is to use search engines to find out basic information, to look up a client’s website or details, or even to simply email fellow colleges around the office. Schools are also responsible for using the internet each day.

The staff in the office will use the internet to email other staff, and also use it to update the school website. It is in the school curriculum that schools must teach their pupils information technology, also known as I.T. This involves teaching students the basics of computing, including how to use basic programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Throughout the school years, they will learn more advance stuff, such as how to create a website, at a basic level.
