"We have had several probes in for repair suffering from 'ID' problems which are caused due to corrupt data within the transducer's onboard memory. This memory stores details such as the serial number, probe type and the calibration data. If this data is backed up using our 'SmartSafe'™ device then the probe can be restored to good working order in the event of a data corruption. Without this backup, a full calibration is required on the probe and can be an expensive exercise." said Ashley Barker, President and CEO of ProbeLogic

This backup service is currently offered free of charge to all our Australian based customers including customers currently under manufacturer's warranty or service agreements. We do advise you to check with your service provider to ensure this is not in breach of any agreement you have before using this device.
