Treasure Transport Wins Major Industry Award

July 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The bulk liquids and general distribution company won the Livery of the Year trophy for its striking new green and silver look and unique, 52,000-pint “beer can” trailer — the latter accurate even down to giant ring-pull details.

The win was announced at a glittering awards ceremony hosted by top comedian Dara O’Briain at London’s Gros­venor House Hotel (July 3).

“The judges loved this livery,” said the magazine. They praised Treasure’s choice of a look that promotes a positive image of both the transport and brewing industries - and praised an eye-catching, modern result.

Treasure was one of 18 winners at the ceremony, which each year celebrates the best of the road transport industry.

“We are really happy to have won. There were some really strong candidates this year,” said Treasure managing director, Peter Greenhalgh.

“We have been specialists in bulk beer transport for almost 60 years and when we redesigned our livery, we wanted to mark the fact in a bright and eye-catching way, and the beer can tanker was born.

“When we arrive at a client’s site with this trailer, the beer cans promote a lot of interest and comment; it’s great that the Motor Transport judges love it too.”

The specially-designed, one of a kind tanker unit is built to look like two beer cans end to end; they even have ring-pulls on the top - but these cans hold 52,000 pints.
