CORENA releases v. 6.6 of their technical publication software suite supporting S1000D and iSpec

BELLEVUE, Wash. - June 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Based on the powerful and highly configurable CORENA CSDB, the CORENA suite has support for both S1000D and iSpec2200 in a single integrated solution. It provides all the functionality you need for managing your technical publication projects – across specifications.

Version 6.6. comprises all of the following products; CORENA S1000D, CORENA iSpec2200, CORENA IETP, CORENA Page, and CORENA IPC, and offers a range of great new features and capabilities:

CORENA S1000D

•   Support for Cross CSDB referencing
•   Support for official schemas of S1000D issue 4.1
•   Support for PDF publishing of data using Container DM (Data Module)
•   Deliverable Validation Report
•   Support for Excel DM report of all metadata of DMs
•   Support for multiple RFU (Reason for Updates)
•   Simplified and user-friendly client login

CORENA iSpec2200

•   Support for customized delivery based on customer applicability configuration and effectivity mark-up
•   New PDF deliverable format, iSpec2200 PDF Documents, allowing one PDF file per MRU (Minimal Revisable Unit) instead of a full manual
•   Workflow supported Tools TIR managed through the Generic Pool
•   Support for generation of List of Effective Anchors in ATA 2100 manual publishing
•   Support for TR (Temporary Revision) publishing
•   Simplified and user-friendly client login

CORENA IETP

•   SNS based navigation using the SNS (if S1000D) or document tree (if iSpec2200) structure as filter
•   Support for linking to CSN (Catalog Sequence Number) within an IPD (Illustrated Parts Data) data module
•   Support for loading and viewing 3D files in .smg format based on 3DVIA from Dassault Systems
•   Support for loading and viewing .svg illustrations
•   Support for customer extensions allowing customized javascripts and CSS files
