The SCPI and Timer Based Siglent SDP3000 series Introduction and Application

SHENZHEN, China - June 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Siglent launched the programmable linear DC power supply SPD3000 series with SCPI command and timer function. SPD3303D/S has 4.3 inch TFT-LCD display and SPD3303C has the LED display. It will be a new vision and operation experience for you to observe the current and voltage through the waveform display.

We would like to introduce SCPI command and timer function of SPD3000 series for you as following below:  

I.SCPI

The full name of SCPI is Standard Commands for Programmable Instrumentation, which is a kind of machines’ communication based on NI-VISA environment. So PC must be installed NI driver at first. Then the user installs EasyPower, software patent of Siglent Technologies Co., Ltd. The user writes and sends SCPI command in Easypower.

II.SCPI is a kind of remote control command with USBTMC protocol. Here is a part:

III. Timer function

The user can set five groups of timers to control the time, as well as the output value of the current and voltage. It is available to use PC to set Max 50 groups of timers and recycle 9999999 times.

And the max time is 10000 seconds each group of timer. With EasyPower and SCPI, the user remote control SPD3000 series very easily.

SPD3000 series can be applied in industry area widely with the programmable and remote control. And the interface is very simple in digits and waveforms. SPD3000 series will become the engineers’ favor.
