Follow on Google News | Intellitronix present at junction auto’s annual Mopar car showBy: Intellitronix Speaking to a few proud car owners as I walked the rows passing out flyers some were opposed to the idea of replacing their gauges and keeping it classic, some spectators were more interested in custom gauge work, and others interested for their other cars. One man asked if we could make a skull shaped gauge as he took the flyer out of my hand. It was interesting to see the variety of cars and people present. Weather they agreed or disagreed with our work, we were all there for the same reason. To respect the American muscle present. To ooh and ahhh at the hard work the men and women put into making their cars perfectly resorted. Or hats off to those that kept the survivors running for this long. Walking through the rows of cars ranging from survivors to modified it was incredible to see the evolution of the car industry. Junction went out with a bang after some games, and trivia. There was a small burnout session to follow the awards. The speaker advised the crowd to move back and for the participants to keep it to a minimum for the police in the area. When the rubber hit the pavement it smoked out the crowd, you could barely see a few feet in front of you. All you could hear was the cheer of the crowd and the squealing of the tires. The crowd favorite was a blue challenger. Their first burn out turned them sideways and they pulled through to a sharp stop 100ft away. Once the smoke cleared the next contestant lined up. You could see the joy on the faces of the older men; it was like they were six playing with hot wheelz. It was truly a spectacle to witness and I am glad I was there to show our support for our friends and family. See you next year! visit our facebook, or our blog on www.intellitronix.com to see photos of the event. End
