YallaTV Featured Filmmaker: Niam Atani

DUBAI MEDIA CITY, UAE - June 5, 2013 - PRLog -- YallaTV is dedicated to promoting new and upcoming filmmaking talent from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Each month we choose a gem from our community of highly talented filmmakers and give them the spotlight.

This month Niam Atani is the YallaTV Featured Filmmaker. Her short film Super.Full. is being featured all month at YallaTV.

Super.Full. is a short narrative drama filmed on location in Doha, Qatar, in September 2010. The film had its world premiere at the Academy Award Qualifying Seattle International Film Festival in May 2011. It played several other festivals in the United States, Canada, India, etc... and won at the 2012 Forster Film Festival in Australia.

The 13-minute film is the story of a poor gas attendant in the richest city in the world who promises his wife dinner at a fancy restaurant for her birthday and then struggles to fulfill the promise.
