Moonlight and Movies in Rosemary Beach and Digital Graffiti Brings Artists From Around the World

DESTIN, Fla. - June 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Throughout the summer, Rosemary Beach will host “Moonlight and Movies” with outdoor films for the whole family. On June 6th, the Disney – Pixar movie Brave will be playing at the Western Green. The Odd Life of Timothy Green and Madagascar 3 will also be playing in June. Movies start at 8:15pm and the event is sponsored by the Merchants of Rosemary Beach.     Rosemary Beach will host the second annual “Walk Her Way” race at 6pm on Friday, June 7th. People of all ages will break out their high heels to participate in the race to raise awareness of domestic violence. Awards will be given to the team raising the most money as well as the best theme and costumes. After the race, The Forrest Williams Band will perform live for a free public concert. The walk will benefit Shelter House, the domestic violence center serving Okaloosa and Walton counties and the Rosemary Beach Foundation.    “Digital Graffiti” is an annual highlight of Alys Beach that will take place on June 7th and 8th  weekend.  Artists from around the world come for the world’s first projection art festival to project original works on the town’s white walls. Paul Love of “Florida Travel & Life” says, “Digital Graffiti is one of the most uniquely fascinating events seen in Florida. I was blown away by the mix of creativity and technology, and the sheer scale of the artwork.” Tickets can be purchased for one or both days and there are condos in the area available for those staying overnight.    Gulf Place Town Center at Highway 393 and 30-A will host a Wine Walkabout on June 20th from 5pm to 7pm. Wine will be available from around the world and visitors can enjoy live entertainment while sampling the selections. Wine glasses and merchant maps can be picked up at the Gulf Place Amphitheater.
