Volpe and Koenig, P.C. Kicks Off 2013 IPromise Charitable Giving Fund

IPromiseTM supports greater Philadelphia, Pa. and Princeton, N.J. area non-profit organizations, helping them continue their good work in the region by awarding $20,000 grants to two qualified organizations.  IPromiseTM has presented more than $220,000 to date to local non-profit organizations.

According to Volpe and Koenig President and CEO Jay Halt, the firm encourages greater Philadelphia, Pa. and Princeton, N.J. area non-profit organizations in need of extra support to review the application guidelines.  “We strive to support local charities serving the communities where we live and work.  We recognize that many non-profits are struggling during these challenging economic times, and we are honored to help them overcome such financial struggles to continue their missions and important work within the community,” said Halt.

Since 2007, IPromiseTM has supported special projects in the areas of community development; arts and culture; education; animal welfare; health and human services; and veterans’ causes.  IPromiseTM recipients from previous years include:  The Mercer Museum, Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Main Line, Last Chance Ranch, Urban Tree Connection, Kisses for Kyle Foundation, the PA School for the Deaf, Girls Inc., The Bethesda Project, Canine Partners for Life, St. Edmond’s Home for Children, After School Activities Partnerships, and Build-a-Bridge.
