Joseph Farina, retired chief judge of Florida’s largest circuit, joins ACEDS Advisory Board

MIAMI - May 23, 2013 - PRLog -- The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists today announced the appointment to its Advisory Board of Judge Joseph Farina, an arbitrator, mediator and special master at JAMS, in Miami, and retired Chief Judge of Florida’s 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.    Mr. Farina, highly regarded as an effective and active settlement judge who handled more than 3,500 cases, supervised operations of the Miami-Dade Court System from 1995 to 2009. That network of courts is among the largest in the country, and is comprised of 123 judges and more than 500 administrative staff.    Bringing to the ACEDS Advisory Board a sterling resume that includes numerous awards for professionalism and leadership from organizations across the country, he was consistently recognized as a top judge by bar association polls during his 30 years on the bench.
