May 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Plus Plus Tutoring is dropping down all tutoring rates to $30/hour for new students signing up between May 21, 2013 and May 31, 2013. Generally Plus Plus Tutoring charges as high as $40/hour for their services.  Plus Plus Tutoring is dropping the rates to help students pass end of course and end of grade examinations, as well as to promote its services.  The company believes that once people try Plus Plus Tutoring, they will not want to use another tutoring service.

The discounts apply to all services Plus Plus Tutoring has to offer.  Plus Plus Tutoring offers K-12 subject tutoring, test preparation, and college planning services.  Plus Plus Tutoring is a private tutoring service and is currently not a Supplemental Educational Services (SES) provider.

Plus Plus Tutoring offers subject tutoring services to students of all grade levels and even some undergraduate college students.   Plus Plus Tutoring’s client base is not limited to K-12 students.  The organization carefully screens tutors to make sure they have a mastery of the subject, good interpersonal communication skills, safe background, reliability, and high motivation.  Many but not all tutors at Plus Plus Tutoring are certified teachers.  Some are exemplary college students.

Among some of the subjects tutors at Plus Plus Tutoring assist with are K-12 English, K-12 mathematics, K-12 sciences, K-8 reading or spelling, and K-12 social sciences.  Their tutors also tutor students in AP, IB, and MYP courses.

Their tutors also help prepare students for improve standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, and PSAT.  In addition, the tutors help students with important state and district end of course and end of grade tests.  Their tutors have previously assisted students with more advanced examinations such as the CLEP, ISEE, SSAT, HPSET, and Math and Science Olympiads such as the AMC and AIME.

Plus Plus Tutoring doesn't limit its focus on classes and testing.  Tutors also act as counselors and provide college planning services such as helping a student complete college applications, helping a student decide on a college, teaching the student to write a good admissions essay, and perform well at competitions.

Currently, Plus Plus Tutoring serves Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.  The organization serves major metropolitan areas such as Philadelphia, Wilmington, Washington, DC, Miami, Atlanta, Tampa, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh.  However, the firm does not yet serve New York City.

Unlike Sylvan Learning Center, Plus Plus Tutoring does not have a centralized location.  Instead, tutors travel to meet the student at his or her residence or at a neutral approved location of the student’s and parent’s choice.  Scheduling is generally flexible.
