Prominent Properties Hold First Annual Thousand Pound Food Drive Challenge

New Jersey Realtors Host Drive to Support Hunger Relief Efforts
 
NEPTUNE, N.J. - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- (MONTCLAIR, NJ) – For many real estate offices across the state, the start of Spring signals the beginning of the busy season. Move For Hunger is proud to announce that one real estate group is welcoming in the warmer weather with a giant food drive across 11 real estate offices in Northern New Jersey.

Prominent Properties – Sotheby’s International Realty have launched their first annual Thousand Pound Challenge for the months of May and June at each one of their offices located in Tenafly, Fort lee, Alpine, Saddle River, Ridgewood, Montclair, Franklin Lakes, Hoboken and Westfield.

Over the next 6 weeks, the team at Prominent Properties will be collecting non-perishable food items from their clients, colleagues, friends and family members with the goal of raising one thousand pounds of food for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and the Center For Food Action.

Anyone that would like to contribute to the Thousand Pound challenge can bring food-items to one of the aforementioned offices during normal business hours. While all donations are certainly welcome, the most needed food items are pasta, canned vegetables, beans, canned tuna, peanut butter and rice.
