Event Director Invited to Speak at the Nonprofit Council Meeting to Teach New Marketing Techniques

NEW BERN, N.C. - May 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Monica C. Dowe, owner and event director of the The Dowe Event Agency (www.thedoweeventagency.com) says, “I am so glad to be the guest speaker for the Nonprofit Council monthly meeting this May.” The purpose of this council is to provide an open forum for the city's nonprofits to network, exchange ideas, and support each other. Dowe continues, "Special events are often used in the nonprofit sector for fundraising. However, there are so many other events that they don't consider that could help position and brand their services further."

This is Monica's fourth time as a guest speaker for the New Bern Chamber of Commerce. Her topic is titled "Building Relationships Through Nonprofits Events".
