Salt + Light Television’s Cogeco Subcribers to Undergo Changes in Service

TORONTO - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- TORONTO – Salt + Light subscribers who receive their cable television service through Cogeco are set to undergo changes in the way that they receive Canada’s only national Catholic television network.

Due to an amendment to article 26 of the CRTC’s Consolidated Broadcasting Distribution Regulations, all single point-of-view religious channels must be offered as a discretionary option and not within in a free basic channel offering. Therefore effective June 11, 2013, Salt + Light Television will no longer be a part of Cogeco’s basic cable package. It will however be available as part of their new “Heart and Soul” package, which free to subscribers.

To continue receiving Salt + Light, subscribers should contact Cogeco at: 1-855-628-7531 and ask for the for the “Heart and Soul” package.
