Atlanta Consulting Firm to Publish Campaign How-To Book

Atlanta political strategists set to publish campaign guidebook in late summer.

ATLANTA - April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Atlanta-based political consulting firm Centennial Strategies, LLC has announced a forthcoming campaign guide to be released in late Summer 2013. Small Campaigns, Big Ideas will  focus on bringing innovative media strategies to campaigns, as well as establishing best practices for older campaign methods.

"We've read a lot of books on campaigns, and most of them read like textbooks," said co-founder Blake Waycaster. "What we want to do is create a guide that you could put in your back pocket and take with you anywhere you go during your campaign."

Small Campaigns, Big Ideas will lean heavily towards the utilization of data and new media practices, according to co-founder Patrick Ward.

"We've seen a big shift in how national campaigns use data and tools like social media. We're just trying to show candidates running for smaller offices that they can use the same tools effectively and cheaply."

The book is set to be released in late Summer. Waycaster said that the format used to release the book is still to be decided.

"We may release it as a free e-book at centennial-strategies.com or we may put it out for the Kindle on amazon.com," said Waycaster. "We don't view this as a money-making project at all, really.  We love campaigns and we want show people that might be inexperienced or underfunded that there are ways for them to win. So if we can find a way to put it in people's hands and they go out and win their campaign, that's a win for us."
