| Shoot event for Courage Center Duluth rescheduled to Sept. 7, 2013Courage Center Duluth’s Shoot for Fun! event, presented by National Bank of Commerce, originally set for Sat., April 27, 2013, has been rescheduled due to heavy snow and ice at the event site, to Sat., Sept. 7, 2013.
By: Courage Center With current snow amounts ranging from 20 to 30 inches, Old Vermilion Trail Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays is not in a safe and accessible condition to welcome the expected 450 attendees. Courage Center is committed to creating an event that is safe and fun for all who take part in this important event for Courage Center Duluth programs. The 15th annual Courage Center Duluth Shoot for Fun! is a full day of sporting clay games, chance boards, food and auctions to raise money and awareness for Courage Center Duluth. All proceeds from this event benefit recreation and sports programming for people with physical disabilities, vision loss or youth with autism. With a sold-out event every year, it has become a favorite of many in the Duluth/Superior area, including dozens of local businesses. About Courage Center Duluth: Courage Center Duluth provides adapted sports and recreation programs to people with disabilities in and around the Duluth area. It has served residents of the Twin Ports community since 1979 by providing year-round sports and recreation programs for children, families and adults with disabilities.
