Dr. Rob Franklin and Dr. Keith Latson, cofounders of FullBucket Animal Health use their company to make a difference to families and animals in need around the world. For every FullBucket purchased in the US, one is given to animals in need.

WEATHERFORD, Texas - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Weatherford, Texas 2013 - Veterinarians Keith Latson, DVM, DACVS, of Manhattan Beach, Calif., Rob Franklin, DVM, DACVIM, of Weatherford, Texas, and marketing professional Rob Hendrickson of GodleyFort Worth, Texas have teamed up to bring a pay-it-forward Social Business to the horse industry with the development of veterinary formulated equine supplements.

Dr. Rob Franklin and Dr. Keith Latson are owners of a superior line of Equine health products that address severe GI disease problems in their clinical patients. The most elite veterinary clinics in the U.S. have been using the products for their performance horse clients since 2009

After treating more than 1,000 Working Equids in Mexico for a variety of ailments during an AAEP sponsored Equitarian Initiative mission in October 2011, the veterinarians realized that by providing well-designed, nutritional supplements to underdeveloped regions dependent on burros, mules and horses, the people would be better able to care for their animals and families. The question then became, “what to do about it?”

The answer: They re-launched their nutritional company as FullBucket.

During a volunteer veterinary outpost to Veracruz, Mexico in 2011 the two veterinarians distilled their vision of helping undernourished working animals in undeveloped regions achieve improved health and well-being through FullBucket’s Giving program: for every serving of supplement sold in the US, a serving of supplement specifically developed for the region is given to animals in need.

Dr. Latson received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 2001 and completed his Equine Surgery Residency at the University of California at Davis. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Franklin received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 1999 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Florida. He is immediate past president of the Texas Equine Veterinary Association.

The team is committed to their mantra of “Do Good and Be Good,” by bringing FullBucket to life and are currently developing a wide range of innovative, first-to-market animal healthcare products.
