Sweet Sweet Music... Josie's Country Blast Radio

April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Radio Show Founder/Host, Josie Passantino, has many titles as she journeys into he destiny of radio a Segment Host, Singer/Songwriter, and Licensed Radio Station Owner/General Manager.  Josie started what would design her career in radio at the age of 14. Creating her own radio show in 20009 “The Josie Show”. You can catch the three-time award nominated Josie Show weekly on Friday Nights at 7 pm Central timezone. The highly respected talk show  features guest interviews and music.  In Josie's short few years in radio she has conducted over 400 interviews to date including independent artists, actors/actresses in television and film, A-Title artists, country television hosts, Grammy Legends, Platinum Recording Artist, and Country Hall of Fame Legends.  In 2012 Josie Kicked off an additional show, which she calls the “Josie Show Special Edition” which airs a few times a month and focuses on the long careers of a single artist each episode. Josie has always had an interest in music, as a child in school she participated in orchestra (playing the Cello), band (playing the tuba & baratone), chorus, and talent shows.  Josie has always had the desire to step on the other side of the mic and in May of 2012 her dream came true when she recorded her Debut Single, perfectly titled “Teenage Girl” which speaks to following your dreams, regardless of your age, something Josie knows very well.  Josie is especially proud of this song as it is the first song she had written after being taught the fine art of songwriting from noted songwriter Milliea McKinney, of Conscious Music Entertainment.
McKinney, who served as a role model, and mentor in young Josie's life says, 'She is not surprised. Josie, is one of those young spirits full of love and life. She has a way of touching your heart and spirit. Her love for life and humanity is contagious. We need more Josie's in the world then we would know our future generations would be safe in the seeds of love they would plant says, McKinney."

Josie  who was quickly contracted by Jandar Records. On February 27th of 2013 Josie was made aware that her song made it to #1 on the Fishing Country Now/Cowgirl Divas Radio Charts as most requested/played song at the station.  Josie is excited to get back into the studio soon to record her second single which will be a modern/country song titled, “Practice Boyfriend.”  Josie wrote this song well over a year ago and is very excited to share it with everyone.  Josie  gave everyone a taste of her upcoming song in acapella during her 18th birthday party and it was met with exciting reviews.  Josie’s debut single “Teenage Girl” can be found on her website atwww.josiepassantino.com, CD Baby, Amazon.com, and iTunes for purchase or download.

Another one of Josie’s dreams was to own her own licensed radio station.  Josie realized that dream on her 18th birthday when her 24/7 licensed radio station launched on February 9, 2013. Part of her success comes through her support system mother Tina Pasantino, whose love shows through the smile and success her daughter is reaping.
