Handy Networks Deploys Noction IRP to Deliver Faster, More Reliable Internet Connectivity

Handy Networks, a Hosting Solutions Provider, has announced the deployment of Noction IRP. The company is replacing the existing Internap FCP appliance with the Noction’s product to further improve its network performance.

PALO ALTO, Calif. - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Founded in 1997, Handy Networks offers numerous hosting options from its downtown Denver, CO datacenter. These include: self-managed dedicated servers, fully managed dedicated servers, single server colocation, private cabinet colocation and cloud hosting. The company recognized the need for intelligent routing optimization in their multi-homed network back in 2008, when it installed Internap's FCP. Facing rapid growth and new business challenges, Handy Networks came to the decision of replacing the Internap FCP solution with Noction's Intelligent Routing Platform.

The IRP continuously analyzes Handy Network’s traffic in real-time. If the routing optimization platform detects that a certain provider offers a network path with less latency, packet loss or just better overall performance, traffic is rerouted over the best path. IRP allows Handy Networks to seamlessly route around major network problems and slowdowns. The processes are proactive and fully automated, as opposed to the manual, reactive tactic used by many service providers when configuring BGP (http://www.noction.com/intelligent_routing_platform).

Since the deployment of Noction IRP Handy Networks has been able to transcend the traditional, manual methods of network optimization to reduce latency (http://www.noction.com/blog/does_latency_really_matter) and packet loss and decrease Internet routing issues. In addition, Noction IRP enables Handy Networks to track traffic trends across its customer base, allowing the company to identify additional opportunities for growth and expansion of current offerings. The additional value added to Handy Networks’ offering, as a result of Noction’s product, has considerably enhanced customer’s satisfaction.

"I am highly impressed by the Noction Platform. It optimizes our network performance (http://www.noction.com/intelligent_routing_platform) and manages commit levels across the 5 different NSPs. What sets Noction apart is the high level of service offered by its team. They handle the initial deployment, upgrades, monitoring of our Noction platform and provide highly reactive support responses. We really couldn’t be happier with the choice to deploy Noction", stated Jay Sudowski, Co-Founder & CTO at Handy Networks.

Handy Networks is not the first company to give a preference to Noction’s platform over other intelligent routing products. In November of 2012, Hivelocity Hosting, a Florida based Dedicated Server Provider, has switched from FCP to Noction IRP as well. The end result of IRP deployment is an improvement to overall network performance, as well as to uptime and stability.
