WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Hazleton area residents now have a website they can visit for a comprehensive listing of local government and crime watch meetings, charity benefits, youth activities and community events.   The website also contains forms for anonymously reporting suspicious activity, online petitions and a forum where visitors can comment on a variety of subjects.

The website, http://www.savehazleton.org/  was inspired by Dominic Tolerico, a Hazleton city resident and creator of the Facebook page titled "Save Hazleton".   When asked what he hopes the page can achieve Tolerico stated "I hope the page will educate people on the problems we are facing and get them engaged in finding solutions”.

The Save Hazleton website was started and designed by Robert G. Martin, co owner of Services Etcetera Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning.   Martin commented “the website is an attempt to organize the information and ideas scattered among the postings on the Facebook page”.

Area municipalities and community organizations are encouraged to submit their meetings and events for a free listing by emailing events@savehazleton.org.
