Pentahotels - a cool hotel chain with a central hotel management solution

NEUSS, Germany - April 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Neuss, Germany – April 09, 2013, MICROS, a leading provider of technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that pentahotels has selected MICROS OPERA as its central hotel management solution and MICROS' cloudbased Simphony as its POS solution for all European pentahotels. The contracts have been signed during this year's
ITB in Berlin. MICROS will install and run the entire system architecture for pentahotels in its data centre in Frankfurt. After the successful pilot installation in pentahotel Wiesbaden the rollout of OPERA and Simphony for all 13 European pentahotels will follow until summer 2013.

Customer requirements
pentahotels wants to manage the company's expansion plans as well as all existing hotels from its headquarters. All important figures have to be available at all times for flexible and targeted management decisions. Price control for rooms, events and restaurant offerings plays a crucial role. Customer information has to be accumulated, marketing strategies have to be planned and steered, F&B has to be harmonized and the conference and event business has to be consistently developed across all properties. Employees have to be able to focus on their core
competences and be relieved from all IT related questions. To ensure high system availability and security as well as a high level of expansion flexibility one single professional provider is to host the entire IT infrastructure.
