April 5, 2013 - PRLog -- UpStreamOnline.com reports that the big three players in this industry - Hoegh LNG, Golar LNG and Exelerate Energy, have already acquired seven newbuild Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU) being built between them, with capacity for more. The next generation of FSRUs is forecasted to be larger and more efficient. This coupled with their lower costs and shorter schedules, the future of FSRU looks promising.
