Sarasota, Florida – April 3, 2013 – The Law Firm of Norton, Hammersley, a leading business and litigation law firm serving the state of Florida, is proud to announce the addition of two associates to the firm’s growing number of attorneys. Eric Hoonhout and Erik Hanson have joined Norton, Hammersley, Lopez & Skokos, P.A. to continue to uphold the firm’s expertise in corporate, construction, estate planning, and real estate law matters.

Eric Hoonhout joined as an associate attorney and a member of the Real Estate Practice Group in May 2012. Eric is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Law (2010) His previous experience includes working as an insurance defense associate practicing in the areas of bad faith litigation, construction defects litigation, and insurance coverage litigation for Young, Bill, Roumbos & Boles, P.A. in Pensacola, Florida.


Erik Hanson joined the Trial Practice and Dispute Resolution Group as an Associate Attorney in December, 2012. Erik is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law, May 2012, and a former member of the Stetson Law Review and Stetson Moot Court Board. Erik has argued before numerous appellate panels, including the Florida Supreme Court.
