Yuvraj Singh's The Test Of My Life Launched By Sachin Tendulkar Now On Infibeam

He wanted the World Cup 2011 to come to India, he prayed to God to give this World Cup to India and take any other thing from him. But he never knew that winning a World Cup would be at the cost of getting Cancer. Cancer filled his life with pain and agony. This cricketer for whom cricket was everything was away from it. He coughed and vomited blood. He was left with insomnia and he lost his real appetite. This food lover had to leave everything to fight this battle. It was a battle of life and death. And he had to win it.

The book was launched recently by Sachin Tendulkar and he said, "I've always treated Yuvraj like a young brother. When I first heard of Yuvraj suffering from cancer, I was shocked. But I knew he was a fighter. When I visited him in London and we went out for dinner, I remember telling my wife, I hope I don't breakdown in front of Yuvraj. I met him and gave him a tight hug. We enjoyed a meal and from the way he (Yuvraj) ate, I was convinced that he is back on track."

He left food, lost his energy, lost his hair and lost his smile while he was going through the chemotherapy. He had to build the will power, make it stronger and stand back on his feet again to play the game he worsships. Yuvraj not only bared the pain but also kept a hope that he shall overcome this also. He knew that if he would not give his best the doctors will not be able to the rest. He was aware of the pain he was going to go through and he chose to bear the pain for a better life and future.

Yuvraj Singh the most popular Indian cricketer. He is a young lad who managed to hit six sixes in a single over against England at the 2007 Twenty20 World Cup. In 2011 after winning the World Cup he was diagnosed with Cancer and went to US for treatment. When he returned he launched the Cancer Charity YouWeCan to help raise the awareness of Cancer and help such more people to get overcome this illness.
