PRLog -- Vuact (http://www.vuact.com)
is a new video experience. With Vuact, viewers find the good content in videos easily and save time. Video creators serve their audiences better and get more engaged viewers. Vuact, Inc. launched at the Launch Conference in San Francisco.
By using a new type of metadata based on audience reactions, Vuact can show viewers what the best moments and segments in video are, and let's viewers navigate to them easily. Vuact's "reaction timeline" acts as a visual navigation aid, showing for example where the funniest or the most important moments in a video are.
"We're creating a new level of transparency into videos. Videos are not just expensive to produce but also expensive to consume since they take time to watch and process. By showing where the valuable content in videos is, Vuact can save viewers lots of time and still give them the content they are looking for", says Vuact, Inc. CEO Mikko Jarvenpaa at the Launch Conference.
As an example of what Vuact does, here is an interview by the PandoDaily reporter Kym McNicholas with San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee:

The video in question has been added from YouTube to a Vuact channel, and viewers on Vuact have recorded their thoughts using the reaction buttons and commenting. Vuact supports the most popular video platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo and Brightcove.
Vuact's customers are content creators such as advertising agencies and video education providers who need to know what resonates with their audiences, or need to increase engagement around their video content.
