“Recruiting Power: Increasing Productivity and Efficiency Using the Cloud and Big Data”
Most recruiting professionals are already familiar with big data, whether within their virtual stacks of resumes, databases and servers, or literally on their own desk. It’s the talent that is applying to jobs; people in resume databases, referrals, social networks and everywhere else in our connected world. While there are definitely benefits to having more availability of resources via the online world, it also means that recruiters have a great deal of talent to look at and qualify.

Managers understand the importance of productivity and efficiency for their recruiters, but how about as it relates to the plethora of resources now available online? During this session, Glen Cathey, vice president of Global Sourcing and Talent Strategy for Randstad Sourceright, joins staffing professionals to discuss the tools that can help recruiters extract the needle from the haystack when it comes to big data. Attendees will also learn what big data is and its impact on recruiters, how to enhance productivity and efficiency in recruitment, and how to empower recruiters to bring efficiency in big data to their organizations.

“15 Rapid Fire Ideas to Boost Your Sourcing and Recruiting Mojo”
Talent acquisition may be the part of the staffing business that is most disrupted by changes in technology and human behavior. The rate and extent of changes, ranging from the presence of big data to the widespread adoption of “social” as the primary medium for communication and interaction, leaves many to wonder how they can remain adequate and perform effectively.

During this panel discussion, Cathey will share top ideas for achieving high-performance talent acquisition in this new environment and discuss how organizations can enhance their recruiting mojo.

“RPO: What Does it Take to Succeed?”
The adoption of RPO among large buyers has been increasing steadily; 38 percent of buyers surveyed by SIA report using RPO, up from 30 percent a year ago and 14 percent five years ago. With corporations facing the challenge of managing employment growth with leaner recruiting departments in the aftermath of the recession, the adoption rate for RPO is expected to go up even higher among large companies, and for midsize employers as well.

While several large staffing firms are now well-established leaders in the growing RPO market, small and midsize staffing firms are also looking at it with great interest, due to increasing demand for recruiting help from their small-to-midsize client base. In this session, Rebecca Callahan, president of RPO for Randstad Sourceright, participates in a panel discussion to address what it takes to succeed, the associated risks, and other important considerations for staffing providers contemplating entering the RPO space.

HR, recruiting and sourcing professionals, hiring managers and executives who are attending the 2013 SIA Executive Forum and wish to learn best practices and strategies from Randstad Sourceright’s executives are encouraged to attend these educational sessions.
