NCIV Presents 2013 Excellence in Programming Awards

March 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) has presented its 2013 Excellence in Programming Awards to five individuals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the network’s success. Awards are presented annually during a luncheon ceremony at NCIV’s National Meeting to exemplary members of the network. Awardees are selected by their peers and are recognized as outstanding achievers within the NCIV network who have tirelessly given their energy and creativity to promote international exchange and global understanding. These individuals ensure the success of the International Visitor Leadership Program.
Recipients of the 2013 NCIV Excellence in Programming Awards were:
•   Timothy Horgan, World Affairs Council of New Hampshire, Manchester, NH – Outstanding Paid Staff Community Organization (CIV) Programmer
•   Pat Watson, Executive Director of the Southern Arizona Council for International Visitors, Tucson, AZ – Outstanding All Volunteer Community Organization (CIV) Programmer
•   Desiree Williamson, Graduate School–International Institute – Outstanding National Program Agency (NPA) Programmer
•   Norman Skougstad – Outstanding English Language Officer
•   Wojciech Stremel, Polish Interpreter – Outstanding Interpreter
