Feb. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Born on 05th September 1962, AS Rawat is a writer and translator.  He penned two novels in Hindi ‘Aakhir Kab Tak’ in 2006, ‘Batmar’ in 2010.  His fourth novel ‘Halla Bol’ is in pipeline.  His birth place is at Dumailla Talla, Bironkhal, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand and got his primary education from there.  He completed his entire education in Delhi.  He has post graduated in Public Administration and has also undergone certificate course in Urdu.  His second novel ‘Batmar’ has been awarded by NHRC for creative writing in Hindi on safeguarding Human Rights. He is engaged in writing and translation work.

Disappointed with the democratic system and politicians, frustrated youth at times gather around Anna Hazare while sometimes they flock around Baba Ramdev in quest of leadership. The heinous Delhi gang rape issue stimulated the anger within them to such an extent that they sat down to protest at the Janta Mantar for days and night. They even moved to Rajpath and to the parliament for justice, pleading to change the system. The peaceful marchers treated brutally.  Is this the solution?
