The Mighty Hamptons, The Legend Returns

Feb. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- The 32nd Annual Mighty Hamptons Triathlon. Join us at www.eventpowerli.com as we celebrate the oldest running Triathlon in the NE, USA.

The Mighty Hamptons is a world renowned Olympic Distance course that has had athletes such as Dave Scott, Allison Roe, Scott Tinley and John Howard as past competitors.

It is held at pristine Long Beach in Sag Harbor with a wonderful 1.5K swim in Noyac Bay, followed by a rolling scenic 23.8 mile bike tour of the Hamptons and finishing with a fast, flat 10K run through the quiet scenic streets of North Haven.

SWIM - 1.5K
The swim is an out and back along the shore in Noyac Bay. Water temperature is in the high 60’s.

BIKE - 40K
The bike course has rolling hills.

Bikes allowed: Road bike, time trial, mountain bike or hybrid. (Sorry, no tandem or recumbent bikes!)

RUN - 10K
The run is a flat course. Water stops will be at every 1.5 mile
