Louisiana LandGrid "Version 2" - More Detailed Land Coverage

Feb. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- US Land Grid, Inc is please to announce Louisiana "Version 2" land grid. This statewide landgrid GIS dataset provides a more complete coverage for the shattered glass state. The result of months of hard work, we believe it is the most complete Louisiana landgrid offering to date.

Quite possibly the hardest of all PLSS States, Louisiana posed a uniqiue problem of incomplete and inaccurate source data. A few months ago we removed the statewide dataset from our online store as we started work on a much more complete and much more accurate Louisiana landgrid dataset.

We are please to announce, as of Sunday, February 3, 2013, the Louisiana Version 2" landgrid was released and ready for immediate download in shapefile and File GeoDatabase file formats. Excluing lots and surveys, the section and township datasets are quite possibly the most complete landgrid coverage available for the state of Louisiana.

In the true spirit of wanting to continually provide updated and value added data, US Land Grid continues to improve our landgrid datasets, tax parcel datasets, and our (soon to be) well datasets. In combination with this, we are committed to contnually building our "no charge" oil and gas focused GIS datasets.
