The Retail Bus Tour is rolling into Raleigh-Durham, NC – April 18

Feb. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The Retail Bus Tour, Inc. (www.retailbustour.com), a new marketing and networking event specifically designed for the shopping center industry, has announced the expansion into the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina market area.  This industry event is scheduled for April 18, 2013 and registration has already begun with over 45 attendees pre-registered.

Three chartered buses, each with two "on-board" moderators, will guide attendees through approximately 35 major shopping centers in the Raleigh-Durham market area, providing information on each property, including rental rates, existing and upcoming vacancies and future redevelopment plans. The Bus Tour, which costs $99 per attendee, begins at North Hills with  a sponsored breakfast and continues with lunch, mid-morning and mid-afternoon stops at featured properties and concludes back at North Hills with a cocktail and networking reception including a VIP guest pass to the Beach Music concert for all registered participants.  

The Retail Bus Tour provides property owners and their representatives a new platform to showcase their properties to real estate industry professionals as well as retail company representatives. “We are extremely excited to bring The Retail Bus Tour to our market as this venue provides the most effective networking opportunity for our industry to share ideas while increasing our knowledge in the market and showcasing retail properties” said Ms. Amy Watkins, a twelve year retail real estate veteran and Vice President, Retail Services with York Properties, Inc. in Raleigh and the Regional Director for The Retail Bus Tour.  During the last Retail Bus Tour that took place in Atlanta, Georgia on November 8, there were over 140 property owners, brokers and retail tenants who spent their day networking as well as visiting approximately 35 retail shopping centers in the market.
