One Day Here Filming in Southampton

Feb. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Multi award-winning director Steve Rahaman has teamed up again with Charles Parshley to helm the project. The two worked together in 2009 and took home Best Crime Drama for “Blood Line” at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival. Seth Hendricks is attached as Executive Producer and is cast in the role of “Kyle”. Charles and Seth met while performing local theatre at the Southampton Cultural Center.

ONE DAY HERE is an emotional roller coaster with a supernatural twist. Filmed in Southampton, New York, the story takes the characters to their darkest hour forcing them to rethink love and loss. A devastating car accident results in deaths that can tear a family apart. Someone unexpectedly enters their lives and gives them the strength they desperately need at this time of grief to pull themselves out of the sorrow and lead them back into life.

This is the first outing for Charles Parshley who penned the screenplay. Although the story is fiction, the devastation he endured when he lost someone close is the core of the story. The upcoming movie is the first feature film for Blue Salt Productions.

“This is a project we all believe in and an added benefit is I get to work with Steve and Seth again.” says Charles. “We are excited about shooting in the Hamptons” says Seth “We have secured some great locations and the locals have opened their doors to us.”

The cast for “One Day Here” includes Susan Galardi, Hailey Kohlus and Lily Spellman.
