Feb. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- DALLAS -- The Beck Group, a worldwide, integrated architecture, construction, technology and professional services firm, today announced it has won the Howell Ballard Lichtig Collaborators of the Year award. The award, sponsored by the Collaboration Forum, recognizes a team of collaborative minded professionals whose outstanding manner of project integration in planning and delivery propelled their project to a successful outcome.

The 188,000 SF Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance Hospital is a four-story ground up full services hospital comprised of two adjoining towers, which includes encompass 24 medical surgical beds, 12 ICU beds, 14 post-partum beds, six LDR beds, an eight-bed NICU and an eight-bed nursery. A 72,000 SF two-story medical office building (MOB) is connected to the hospital by a windowed hallway. In addition to physician offices, the MOB includes a physical therapy center and an ambulatory surgical center. The Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance Hospital and associated MOB are both true Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects with tri-party agreements.

Project team members recognized include Texas Health Resources, The Beck Group, Perkins+Will, Cummings Electric, Dyna Ten, and LASCO. The Howell Ballard Lichtig Collaborators of the Year is the only national award recognizing excellence on IPD collaborative projects.
