cabibble - New Search Engine for Kids

The new site features a kids safe, custom search engine to allow kids to find relevant information on common subjects, and return results that are easy to navigate and explore.

cabibble.com indexes a select number of web sites to include the most relevant and up to date information as possible. By focusing on a smaller number of web sites to draw on for information, the resuls are more specific to the topic being researched.

cabibble.com search engine for kids divides the search results into logical channels; Encyclopedias, Wikis, Videos, and a dictionary. Each channel also has its own image index.

"Everytime my kids needed to research a topic for school, I had to come to the computer to help filter through the links on most search engines. When my daughter wants to research Lions, she should not have to cycle through 5 or six pages and different web searches to find good information... so, I built them a new one... and added a few other areas to the site and voila, cabibble.com was born." says cabibble.com developer Patrick Nielsen.

In addition to the search engine, cabibble.com has added an Amazon.com mini store, focussing primarily on books, but listing some of Amazon.com's other product lines.

The Take-a-break section features some pretty cool games and interactive simulations.
