Follow on Google News | tde develops modular DIN rail distribution moduletde – trans data elektronik presents their new DIN rail distribution module compatible with many other connection technologies due to its modular structure.
Tomorrow's accessibility and supervision of so-called smart factories will rely on fiber optic networks. Therefore, tde offers a distribution module based on the new series of modular enclosure systems carrying forward the standard of highest packing density. Universally applicable “The DIN rail distribution module enclosures available on the market usually determine the specific connection technology due to nonexchangeable front panels”, says André Engel, CEO of tde, adding: “Twelve optic fiber splices with SC/ST connectors are typical configurations.” Compact, sturdy and elegant The space saving module enclosure system with rounded edges measures 140 x 100 mm und can be attached to standardized DIN rails with an included solid DIN rail metal clamp. Mounting brackets are also available for wall-mounted solutions. With up to 24 splices the optional splice tray enables an increased packing density. As networking expert tde offers different cable entries for loose tube cables, breakout cables and trunk cables. Besides fiber optic connections the entries can be used with RJ45 Keystone modules as well. In addition, the enclosure system is available in three further sizes, which are also compatible with the same equipment. Thanks to the elegant design the enclosure system can be visibly used in conference rooms and auditoriums. The usually black or gray powder-coated box is available in other colors if adequate quantities are ordered. In combination with plug & play installations like tML®, the DIN rail distribution module can be used for mobile cablings at events. End
