Jan. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Telford-based organisation Wave-length will be running a What’s Stopping You? event on the 23rd April 2013 at the Glass Classroom, Museum of Iron in Coalbrookdale which will look at how people have overcome such additional barriers, what lessons might be learned from them and where support might be obtained to make it happen.

For some, the challenges are increased by social barriers, perhaps having a disability, being a single parent, a carer, an ex-offender, or being long-term unemployed. The list goes on and on

The event will include workshops helping you understand the impact of coming off benefits, what it takes to run a business, next steps to setting up the business and the possible funding routes.

What makes such an event really mean something is that there will be people from businesses who have faced such social barriers and overcome them attending willing to share their experience. They can demonstrate what they have achieved and give time to talk to you if you are wondering about the next steps to making it happen.

If you would like to come along you need to register your free place via http://www.wave-length.org.uk/so-whats-stopping-you/

Or if you or your business seem to be described here and you like to take a greater part in supporting the event then contact info@wave-length.org.uk
