Merck India has taken an initiative to create awareness and drive people towards a better life. This movement named “I Say No to Sab Chalta Hai” kick started on December 14, 2012 with a Flash Mob at Explainded College, Goregaon which continued till December 28, 2012.

From Churchgate to Borivali, Virar and Vasai, students from various colleges conducted flash mobs at the major railway stations to express their views on this concept. “I Say No” is all about standing up for your right and against what you don’t want. Flash Mobs make a strong statement on general public.
Hence students chose to express themselves through the same. It all starts with a few people starting to dance in public and make others join them, as if in a movement. The strength of the mob determines the weight of the issue.

“I Say No” campaign also called for a contest of Flash Mob participants, wherein student groups from various colleges would perform and upload their videos. The videos would be judged thereafter and winner announced.

This consumer awakening campaign conceptualized by the Performance Materials Division of Merck (India) aims to inspire people to ask for products and services that make life better, safer and productive.
